Providing Early Education for Children from birth to 6 years of age this contemporary, purpose built early learning centre designed to support young children to; explore, grow, and learn. Being a member of The Sanctuary means that you will be a person who is driven by the desire to provide fun, supportive and challenging learning and developmental experiences for young children. You will be a strong advocate for children ensuring that the rights and welfare of each individual is upheld at all times. You must have a strong commitment to developing collaborative relationships with families ensuring the education and care provided to children is aligned with the values and goals of their parents and guardians. You must be committed to lifelong learning, be motivated to be involved in ongoing professional development both during and outside of working hours, and strive to achieve your best effort on a daily basis. Our leadership team will provide you with mentoring and coaching to support your practices to excel, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the early childhood field. It is expected that you will offer your team the same opportunities on a daily basis also. You will need to have sound pedagogical practices informed by the theories of; Bronfenbrenner, Maslow, Piaget and Vygotsky, Erikson and Ainsworth. You should be familiar with the practices of emergent curriculum and the practices of Reggio Emilia, attachment and primary care giving or be willing to learn and develop in these areas.
